Built from 100% solid pine and handcrafted in Mexico, each piece goes through a two-tone multi-step lacquer process that leaves the tops with a weathered gray finish over hand-distressed wood and the rest of the case in an eggshell antiqued tone. Because the wood is naturally distressed, every chest arrives with its own combination of knots, grain patterns and subtle surface variation. Three drawers handle the daily storage load, and a lower cabinet door adds a compartment for bulkier items. Hand-turned legs lift the piece off the floor with quiet architectural detail, and ball bearing metal glides keep each drawer running smooth.
